I make a lot of graphics for my involvement on campus, and reading all the tips from the Intro to Design Background was very helpful. The biggest thing I learned is that aesthetics are nice, but making an impact is what matters most. What is the point of making a pretty advertisement for an event if anyone can read it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What did you enjoy?<\/strong> <strong>Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I really enjoyed the photo safari. It was really interesting to look at things that I see in my day-to-day life and analyse them using everything I learned. It was nice to be able to implement and make connections that helped me to be able to absorb the information more easily than I would if I just read about it. I also really enjoyed reading The Vignelli Canon. Especially since design is not something you would see a bigger book about.
